Seaside Sculpture Walk

SIDNEY SEASIDE SCULPTURE WALK – the name says it all.

Visitors and residents alike are delighted with Sidney’s seaside walk and its spectacular West Coast seascape. Sculpture will be placed along the pedestrian walkway to add to an already inspiring experience.

The Town of Sidney’s sculpture walk project invites artists to exhibit their work for a two-year period. Through donations and sponsorships, sculptures will also be added to Sidney’s permanent sculpture collection. From traditional to contemporary, the variety of the works – will challenge, delight and inspire everyone.

The ultimate goal is to have the sculpture walk extend the 2 km length of the waterfront promenade. The first phase of the project will be located on the waterfront at the foot of Beacon Avenue.

Sidney downtown merchants, Mary Winspear Centre, Book Town, Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre, Saanich Peninsula Community Arts Centre, Sidney Museum & Archives, Thursday Night Market, Sidney’s Peninsula Celebrations and now… Sidney Seaside Sculpture Walk is another great reason to visit Sidney.
